Fort Adams State Park Closed to Swimming

The Department of Health (HEALTH) has determined water quality at Fort Adams State Park to be unsuitable for swimming due to high bacteria counts. Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the areas are safe for swimming.

The following licensed beaches remain closed to swimming: Goddard Memorial State Park Beach, Conimicut Point Beach, Narragansett Town Beach, North Kingstown Town Beach, Oakland Beach, City Park Beach, and Barrington Town Beach
