HEALTH To Hold Meeting for Public Comment on St. Joseph Center for Health and Human Services' Plan to Eliminate Obstetric Services

The Rhode Island Department of Health (HEALTH) will hold a meeting for public comment on a plan proposed by St. Joseph Center for Health and Human Services (CharterCARE Health Partners) to eliminate obstetric services at OB/GYN clinics located at 21 Peace Street in Providence and 40 Broad Street in Pawtucket.

Administrative review of the plan for closure began on June 25, 2013 and the Director of Health has 90 days to make a decision. The plan is available for review at https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9lx-sHDAL9qdV9Fc2h5N09qeG8/edit

The public meeting will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the Rhode Island Department of Health, Department Operations Center (Lower Level) 3 Capitol Hill, Providence, Rhode Island
