Final Report of the Providence County Grand Jury (Reported February 28, 2014)

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Daniel Serrano with one count of murder. It is alleged that on or about February 24, 1990, Serrano murdered Michael Holliday.

The alleged incident took place in Providence with the Providence Police conducting the investigation. Serrano is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 19, 2014.

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jefferson Nyonton and Brian Texeira each with four counts of first degree robbery, two counts of assault with intent to rob, and two counts of conspiracy.

It is alleged that on or about June 24, 2013, Nyonton and Texeira conspired to and did rob two individuals. It is further alleged that on or about July 1, 2013, Nyonton and Texeira conspired to and did rob two individuals and assaulted two other individuals with the intent of robbing them.

The alleged incidents took place in Providence with the Providence Police conducting the investigation. Nyonton and Texeira are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 19, 2014.

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Charles Pona with three counts of first degree child molestation and two counts of second degree child molestation. It is alleged that on or about dates between November 30, 2010 and August 2, 2013, Pona molested a young girl under the age of 14 on multiple occasions.

The alleged incidents took place in Providence with the Providence Police conducting the investigation. Pona is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on March 19, 2014.
