Interim Report of the Statewide Grand Jury (Reported May 5, 2014)

James Donnelly-Taylor, DOB: 1976 22 Ferncliff Avenue Warwick, RI P1-2014-1317A

The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging James Donnelly-Taylor with one count of simple assault. It is alleged that on or about February 26, 2014 Donnelly-Taylor assaulted an individual in Lincoln. The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Donnelly-Taylor will be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on May 21, 2014.

Christopher Goyette, DOB: 1984 7 Vandale Putnam, CT P1-2014-1383B

Timothy Warner, DOB: 1981 6 Park Road Putnam, CT P1-2014-1383C

Ross Vance, DOB: 1984 30 Senexet Road Woodstock, CT P1-2014-1383D

The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jeremy Corrao, Christopher Goyette, Timothy Warner, and Ross Vance each with possession of more than five kilos of marijuana, cultivation of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, and conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act.

It is alleged that Corrao, Goyette, Warner and Vance operated an illegal marijuana manufacture and distribution network throughout Rhode Island. On February 7, 1014, the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA), with the assistance of the Scituate and Glocester Police Departments, executed search warrants at multiple locations in Scituate, North Smithfield and Glocester. On February 10, 2014, the HIDTA Task Force executed another search warrant in Coventry.

In total, the search warrants resulted in the seizure of two hundred forty-eight (248) marijuana plants, over forty-six (46) pounds of processed marijuana and $312,678.

All four defendants are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on May 28, 2014.
