Saul Rivera, age 21 73 Herschell Street Providence, RI P1-2014-2041AG
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Saul Rivera with one count of murder, four counts of discharging a firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of possession of a stolen firearm, one count of possession of a firearm without a license, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of a drive by shooting, and one count of simple assault.
It is alleged that on or about January 31, 2014, Rivera shot a firearm multiple times into a motor vehicle with a bulleting striking and killing Derreck Almanzar. The other three passengers in the motor vehicle were not injured.
The alleged incident took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Rivera is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on July 9, 2014.
Francisco Diaz, age 32 512 Chalkstone Ave. Providence, RI P1-2014-2042AG
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Francisco Diaz with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling with intent to commit murder, one count of discharging a firearm while committing a crime of violence resulting in injury, one count of use of a firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of possession of a pistol without a license, one count of possession of a firearm by an alien, and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon.
It is alleged that on or about April 23, 2014, Diaz assaulted two women with a firearm in a residence with the intent to murder them. It is further alleged that earlier in April, on or about the dates between April 1, 2014 and April 19, 2014, Diaz assaulted a woman with a knife. The alleged assaults took place in Providence.
The Providence Police conducted the investigation. Diaz, who has been held without bail since he was extradited back to Providence after he was arrested in the Bronx, NY, is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on July 9, 2014.
Corrine Latraverse, age 30 26 Monty Ave. Woonsocket, RI P1-2014-2043A
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Corrine Latraverse with one count of first degree arson. It is alleged that on or about March 15, 2014, Latraverse set fire to a building located at 26-28 Monty Ave., Woonsocket. The Woonsocket Police conducted the investigation. Latraverse is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on July 23, 2014.
Ernest Sabourin, age 74 146 Earle Street Central Falls, RI P1-2014-2044A
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Ernest Sabourin with two counts of first degree sexual assault, one count of second degree sexual assault, and two counts of simple assault. It is alleged that on or about dates between April 5 and April 6, 2014, Sabourin sexually assaulted a female. The alleged assault took place in Central Falls. The Central Falls Police conducted the investigation. Sabourin is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on July 23, 2014.
Chaquiro Blandino, age 19 150 Stamford Ave. Providence, RI P1-2014-2045AG
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out a secret indictment charging Chaquiro Blandino with one count of murder, two counts of discharging a firearm while committing a crime of violence, one count of discharging as firearm from a motor vehicle, one count of possession of a firearm without a license and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon.
It is alleged that on or about May 2, 2014, while driving a motor vehicle, Blandino shot a firearm into another motor vehicle with a bullet striking and killing the driver, Francis Rodriguez. The passenger of the motor vehicle Marvin Vasquez was not injured.
The alleged incident took place in Providence. The Providence Police conducted the investigation. A warrant has been issued for Blandino.
