ORA released its reports of FY 2015 local 1% hotel tax collection and meal and beverage tax collection. These reports compare local collections of both taxes by community on a month-to-month, year-over-year, and fiscal year-to-date over fiscal year-to-date basis. The report notes that a filing error by a Newport taxpayer (in July 2013 and September 2013) has skewed the results for Newport.
