Rhode Island Naloxone Rebate Program Available

Attorney General Peter F. Kilmartin and Naloxone manufacturer Amphastar Pharmaceuticals, Inc., executed an agreement that requires the company to offer a $4 rebate for each Naloxone kit (syringe dosage only) purchased by non-federal government agencies in Rhode Island. Eligible entities include, but are not limited to, state agencies, municipal governments, state and municipal law enforcement agencies, emergency medical service agencies, or non-profit community based programs.

As part of the agreement, the Rhode Island Attorney General has agreed to process all of the rebate requests. The effective date for the rebate program is for purchases made on or after October 1, 2015. Information and rebate submission forms are available at www.riag.ri.gov.
