"Veterans Day is a time to honor and thank the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to keep our nation and families safe. It is because of their bravery and courage that we can peacefully pursue our own dreams and opportunities."
"For my part, I will continue to prioritize the issues facing many of our veterans, from housing to education, job training and health care, and make sure they have the support they need. I look forward to appointing our state's first director of veterans affairs soon to help us reach our goals."
