The Kent County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging David Roscoe with one count of murder and one count of first degree sexual assault. It is alleged that on or about August 4, 1990, Roscoe sexually assaulted and murdered 85-year-old Germaine Mouchon in her apartment in West Warwick.
The murder went unsolved until this past summer when West Warwick Police met with the victim's son and reopened the case. Biological material found at the scene was tested and a match came back to that of David Roscoe.
Roscoe, who has been held without bail since his arrest in November, is scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on January 8, 2016.
