The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging John Brown with one count of first degree sexual assault.
It is alleged that on or about August 9, 2015, Brown sexually assaulted an individual, with the sexual assault being in the first degree.
The alleged incident took place in Charlestown and the Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. Brown is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on March 9, 2016.
