Interim Report of the Statewide Grand Jury (Reported July 22, 2016)

The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Andres Mena, Kenny Santiago, and Poalo Parra each with possession of more than five kilos of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, conspiracy to violate the Rhode Island Uniformed Controlled Substances Act, and two counts of possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance.

It is alleged that on or about April 27, 2016, Mena, Santiago, and Parra were in possession of more than five kilos of marijuana and two firearms.

The alleged incident took place in Cumberland and the Cumberland Police conducted the investigation. All three defendants are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on July 29, 2016.
