Interim Report of the Statewide Grand Jury (Reported August 17, 2016)

The Statewide Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Kelvinson Rojo, Joshua Torres and Alexandria Bergeron each with one count of burglary, four counts of first degree robbery, one count of using a firearm during a crime of violence, one count of assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling house, one count of possession of a pistol without a license and one count of conspiracy to commit burglary. In addition, the Grand Jury charged Rojo with one count of possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence.

It is alleged that on or about May 16, 2016, Rojo, Torres and Bergeron conspired to commit and did commit burglary, committed first degree robbery and assaulted an individual while armed with a firearm. The alleged incident took place in Glocester.

The Rhode Island State Police conducted the investigation. All three defendants are scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court before Justice Robert D. Krause on August 31, 2016.
