Joao Nunes (age 43) 720 Lonsdale Avenue Central Falls, RI P1-2016-3340ADV
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Joao Nunes with one count of first degree sexual assault domestic and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon domestic.
It is alleged that on or about February 28, 2015, in the City of Central Falls, Nunes physically and sexually assaulted a woman with whom he was in a relationship. The Central Falls Police investigated the incident.
Nunes is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on December 14, 2016.
Joseph Masi (age 30) 1 Sanford Street Providence, RI P1-2016-3341ADV
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Joseph Masi with first degree arson, burglary domestic, assault with a dangerous weapon domestic, and first degree sexual assault.
It is alleged that on or about August 29, 2016, in the City of East Providence, Masi physically and sexually assaulted a woman with whom he was in a relationship. It is further alleged that he burglarized and then set fire to her residence.
The East Providence Police conducted the investigation. Masi is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on December 14, 2016.
