The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Jamil Ali and Jaleil Benjamin, each with five counts of first degree robbery and five counts of conspiracy.
It is alleged that on or about April 23, 2017; April 25, 2017; April 27, 2017; April 29, 2017; and April 30, 2017, Ali and Benjamin robbed five individuals, with the robbery being in the first degree.
The alleged incidents took place in Providence and Providence Police conducted the investigation. Ali and Benjamin will both be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on August 16, 2017.
