Kevin Viara (age 49) 130 County Street Seekonk, MA P1-2017-3390ADV
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Kevin Viara with one count of first degree robbery, one count of kidnapping (domestic), one count of strangulation (domestic), two counts of assault on a person over 60 years of age (domestic), one count of assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling (domestic), and one count of vandalism (domestic).
It is alleged that on or about September 10, 2017, Viara robbed, assaulted, strangled, and forcibly imprisoned a woman over the age of 60 with whom he was in a familial relationship.
The alleged events took place in East Providence and the East Providence Police conducted the investigation. Viara is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on December 20, 2017.
Herol Bertony Cabrera (age 28) 32 Crowninshield Street Providence, RI P1-2017-3391A
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Herol Bertony Cabrera with one count of first degree child molestation. It is alleged that on or about dates between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015, Cabrera molested a girl 14 years of age of under.
The alleged incident took place in Providence and the Providence Police conducted the investigation. Cabrera is scheduled to be arraigned in Providence County Superior Court on January 10, 2018.
