Governor Donald L. Carcieri today announced plans to commemorate the second year anniversary of the September 11th attacks. The event will take place at noon in the Bell Area of the State House.
Major General Reginald Centracchio, The Adjutant General of Rhode Island, will act as the Master of Ceremonies. Musical selections will be performed by harpist Joan Ceo, and vocalist Rose Weaver will perform the “Star Spangled Banner”. A wreath will be placed at the base of the September 11th Memorial, and the Pilgrim High School Choir will perform.
The event is open to the public.
