Proposed Adoption of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program LIHEAP Block Grant

A public hearing will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 10:00 am at the RI Department of Human Services, Louis Pasteur Building, 57 Howard Avenue, 1st Floor, Cranston, RI 02920 in the West Wing Conference Room to consider the proposed State Plan for the LIHEAP Block Grant which is funded through the United States Department of Health and Human Services. The purpose of the LIHEAP program is to assist Rhode Island's income eligible households meet the increasing cost of home energy and reduce the severity of an energy related crisis.

Persons wishing to testify may do so by signing up at the hearing or by submitting written testimony by Friday, August 24, 2018 to Frederick Sneesby, Department of Human Services, Louis Pasteur Building, 57 Howard Avenue, Cranston RI 02920, or email to Frederick.Sneesby@dhs.ri.gov.
