On December 5, 2018, members of the Special Investigations Unit arrested William R. Munroe, age 55, of 93 Keeley Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, for Larceny under $1,500 (14 counts). Mr. Munroe was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned in Second Division District Court and released on $10,000 personal Recognizance.

On December 5, 2018, members of the Financial Crimes Unit arrested Quatavia J. Cannon, age 34, of 3300 NW 32nd Court, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, on the following: 1) Obtaining Money under False Pretense over $1500; and 2) Computer Access. Ms. Cannon was arrested in Plantation, Florida, and extradited to the State of Rhode Island. Ms. Cannon was arraigned before the Honorable Chief Judge Jeanne Lafazia, where bail was set at $10,000 with surety.

On December 5, 2018, members of the Major Crimes Unit charged inmate Thad Carman, age, 26, of 31 Woodman Street, Providence, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Mr. Carman was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he waived extradition proceedings. Mr. Carman was remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions to await Massachusetts authorities.

On December 5, 2019, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Seekonk Massachusetts Police Department arrested Michael Costa, age 35, with a last known address of 235 Central Avenue, East Providence, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Affidavit/Arrest Warrant from Providence Police Department for Breaking and Entering/Conspiracy/Larceny; 2) Affidavit/Arrest Warrant from East Providence Police for Breaking and Entering/Larceny; 3) Affidavit and Arrest Warrants from the Cranston Police Department for Forgery/Obtaining Money under False Pretenses; 4) Warrant from the Attorney Generals Office for Passing Counterfeit Bills; and 5) Six (6) Warrants issued from Superior Court for Failure to Appear on various previous charges. Mr. Costa was turned over to Seekonk Police on pending Massachusetts charges and for future arraignment as a Fugitive from Justice.

On December 5, 2019, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Seekonk Massachusetts Police Department arrested Lindsey Fernandes, age 32, with a last known address of 31 Henreitta Street, Tiverton, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Affidavit/Arrest Warrant from Providence Police Department for Forgery of Checks; 2) Warrant from the Attorney Generals Office for Counterfeiting/Conspiracy; 3) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on an original charge of Breaking and Entering a Dwelling; and 4) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on original charges of Breaking and Entering /Conspiracy. Ms. Fernandes was turned over to Seekonk Police for arraignment as a Fugitive from Justice.
