On February 15, 2019, at 1:00 a.m., members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit arrested Juan C. Cortez Hernandez, age 23, of 129 Sumner Avenue, 1st Floor, Central Falls, Rhode Island, for six (6) counts of Casino Gaming Cheating - Increase, Decrease, Wager with Knowledge of the Outcome. The arrest was the result of an investigation by members of the Gaming Enforcement Unit. Mr. Hernandez was taken into custody at Twin River Casino and transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned before Justice of the Peace Frank Saccoccio and released on $5,000 personal recognizance. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Gaming Enforcement Unit.

On February 15, 2019, at approximately 7:45 AM, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Ryan Nobrega, age 26, of 47 Central Pike, Foster, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of Child Pornography; and 2) Indecent Solicitation of a Child. Mr. Nobrega was arraigned in Third Division District Court before the Honorable Magistrate Ippolito, where he was issued $10,000.00 surety bail with special bail conditions of limited internet access and no contact with minors.

On February 15, 2018, at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Devin Mello, age 28, of 418 Grand Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Rhode Island Parole Board Warrant for Violation of Parole on an original charge of Possession of Firearm/Possession of Narcotics; and 2) Federal Violation of Parole Warrant on an original charge of Possession of Firearm. Mr. Mello was processed at the Lincoln Woods barracks and turned over to ACI officials. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the RI Violent Fugitive Task Force.

On February 15, 2019, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Victor Perez, age 29, of 418 Grand Avenue (3rd floor), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on two (2)active Providence Superior Court Bench Warrants for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on an original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance and a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on an original charge of Felony Domestic Assault. Mr. Perez was taken into custody without incident, processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Providence Superior Court officials. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force

On February 15, 2019, at approximately 9:30 AM, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested David Souza, age 56, of 1167 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of Child Pornography; and 2) Transfer of Child Pornography. Mr. Souza was arraigned in Sixth Division District Court before the Honorable Associate Judge Capraro and issued $1,500.00 surety bail with special bail conditions of limited internet access and no unsupervised contact with minors.
