The Statewide Grand Jury has completed its investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding the non-fatal shooting of Richard Solitro on December 9, 2018 by Patrolman Mathieu Florio of the North Providence Police Department. The grand jury determined that Officer Florio's actions were legally justified and declined to return an indictment in this matter.
