SNAP Customers Can Now Decide When To Have An Interview

Did you know our Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients can now decide when to have an interview? Those renewing their SNAP benefits, known as a SNAP recertification, can call 1-855-MY-RIDHS before your scheduled appointment time to complete your interview over the phone and renew your benefits.

When you call during business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.), please state that you are calling for your SNAP recertification interview and you will be directed to a dedicated team of representatives who are ready to assist you.

Recertification interviews take about 30 minutes to complete. For more information on SNAP, go to the SNAP Program Information page on the DHS website (see the link below).

If you do not call in for your interview, a Department of Human Services (DHS) worker will call you at the time of your scheduled interview.
