At 9:50AM Troopers arrested Brett Shovlin, age 35, for 1.) DUI First Offense – BAC Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to calls for an erratic operator and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Cranston. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
At 12:13PM Troopers arrested Juan Adorno Santiago, age 61, of 63 Fountain Street, Apt. #3, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Domestic Violence- Simple Assault originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Mineral Spring Avenue in the City of Pawtucket. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
At 11:35AM Troopers arrested Kenneth Johnson, age 64, of 530 North Main Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs – BAC Unknow, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, and 3.) Possession of Controlled Substance Schedule I-V (Cocaine). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146, in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for a medical evaluation before being returned to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending a morning arraignment.
At 11:35AM Troopers arrested Tyrone Clarke Collins, age 23, of 246 Vermont Avenue, Floor 1, Providence, Rhode Island for Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V (Oxycodone). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146, in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and release
