Interim Report of the Providence County Grand Jury (Reported February 18, 2020)

Phillip Senat (age 32) Providence, RI P1/2020-0062A

On February 18, 2020, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Phillip Senat with one count of first-degree robbery, two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of breaking and entering a dwelling without consent of the owner, and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Pawtucket sometime on November 16, 2019. The Pawtucket Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on March 18, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.

Pedro Diaz (age 33) Pawtucket, RI P1/2020-0062B

On February 18, 2020, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Pedro Diaz with one count of first-degree robbery, one count of breaking and entering a dwelling without consent of the owner, and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Pawtucket sometime on November 16, 2019. The Pawtucket Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on March 18, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.

Lenoir Tavares (age 40) Woonsocket, RI P1/2020-0663A

On February 18, 2020, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Lenoir Tavares with two counts of first-degree child molestation, three counts of second-degree child molestation, two counts of second-degree sexual assault, and one count of assault.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Woonsocket sometime between the March 31, 2016 and the September 26, 2019. The Woonsocket Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on March 18, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.

Kevin Oliveiri (age 36) Providence, RI P1/2020-0664A

On February 18, 2020, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Kevin Oliveiri with one count of first-degree robbery and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon.

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Providence sometime on November 30, 2019. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on March 18, 2020 in Providence County Superior Court.
