On Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 9:00 AM, Troopers arrested Aramis Ortiz, age 44, of 262 Webster Avenue, Apartment #2, Providence, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. This arrest was the result of an investigation by Trooper Barnes and the Violent Fugitive Task Force subsequently locating the subject on Broad Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
