At 9:34 AM, Troopers arrested Thomas Zelano, age 39, of 350 Ferris Avenue, Rumford, RI on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Violation of a No Contact Order originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Providence. Zelano was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.
At 4:09 PM, Troopers arrested Dequon Ferrara, age 26, of 12 Verdi Street, North Providence, Rhode Island on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License, originating out of the North Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident which occurred on Route 95 South in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and later transported via rescue to Fatima Hospital for minor complaints of pain as a result of the motor vehicle accident. The subject was subsequently transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center.
At 11:45 PM, Troopers arrested Luis Morataya Figueroa age 41, of 560 Dexter Street Providence, RI, for 1.) DUI First Offense – BAC 1.5 Greater, (Phase 1 .251) (Phase 2 .251). The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the report of an Erratic Operator on Breakneck Hill Road in the Town of Lincoln. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
At 12:30 AM, Troopers arrested Christopher Vitale, age 39, of 117 Park Street Wrentham, MA, for 1.) Possession of Schedule I-V (Cocaine) 2.) Disorderly Conduct and 3.) Resisting Arrest. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle on North Main Street in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and later transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment. .
