At 9:37 AM, Troopers arrested Gary Spencer, age 43, of 111 Arbor Drive, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Providence Superior Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Manufacturing/Delivering/Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute (Schedule I,II), originating out of the Providence Police Department; and 2.) Sixth Division District Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License, originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Huntington Avenue in the City of Providence. Spencer was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and transported to the Sixth Division District Court.
At 9:16 PM, Troopers arrested Galen Conte, age 50, of 17 Anthony Road, Barrington, Rhode Island for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs - First Offense .15 Greater (Phase I: BAC .187% / Phase II BAC .193%). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Warwick. Conte was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 11:47 PM, Troopers arrested Jailton Freire, age 35, of 204 Morris Ave, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for a 1.) Sixth District Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the charge of Failure to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Providence. Freire was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released.
