At 8:58 PM, Troopers arrested Thomas E. Morris, age 40, of 160 Lepes Road, Swansea, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs BAC Unknown – 2nd Offense and 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North, in the Town of North Providence. Morris was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to a responsible adult.
At 1:59 AM, Troopers arrested Michael Canham, age 29, of 11 Sayles Avenue, Lincoln, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs BAC Unknown and 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 95 North, in the City of Providence. Canham was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and misdemeanor released with a future court date .
