On Sunday, June 11, 203 at 8:13 PM, Troopers out of the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Bryan Ortiz Franceschi, age 25, of 418 Abbott Drive, Sanford, North Carolina for 1.) Carrying a Pistol or Revolver Without a License or Permit 2.) Two (2) counts of Large-Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited 3.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance over 10 grams (Fentanyl) The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of East Greenwich. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was held overnight pending morning arraignment.
