At 10:01 PM, Troopers arrested Steven Cournoyer, age 45, of 54 Desrocher Avenue, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) DUI of Liquor and or Drugs, BAC Unknown- 2nd Offense- within 5 years, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- 1st Offense. This arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the Town of Smithfield. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
