Scituate Barracks

On July 11, 2025 at 10:30 AM, Troopers arrested Benevido Andrade, age 51, of 890 Main Street, Apartment 2, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense. This arrest was the result of the subject being taken into custody at the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal by Capitol Police. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters, where he was processed, and later transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.

On July 12, 2025 at 1:13 AM, Troopers arrested David Johnson Jr., age 27, of 51 Hamlin Street, Apartment 3, Providence, Rhode Island, for License or Permit Required for Carrying a Pistol. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Memorial Boulevard in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police – Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future Sixth Division District Court date.

On July 12, 2025 at 1:31 AM, Troopers arrested Joshua Lugo, age 31, of 217 Rock Ridge Drive, Apartment A, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – Fourth Offense within Ten Years, 2.) Eluding Law Enforcement – High Speed Pursuit – First Offense, 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – Second Offense, 4.) Obstructing an Officer in the Execution of Duty, and 5.) Operating with a Suspended License – Sixth Offense. The arrest was the result of an attempted motor vehicle stop of an intoxicated operator, followed by a motor vehicle pursuit, which ended when the vehicle became disabled on the off-ramp to Twin River Road from Route 146, in the Town of Lincoln. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment, where he will be presented as a Superior Court bail violator.
