Lincoln Woods Barracks

On Saturday August 23, 2025, at 8:30 PM, Troopers arrested Rosa Torres, age 36, of 338 Manton Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs with a Child Under 13 – First Offense – BAC .1% - .15%. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to reports of a disabled motor vehicle on Route 146 South in the City of Providence. Torres was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult.

On Sunday August 24, 2025 at 12:30 AM, Troopers arrested Ishmel Griggs, age 31, of 75 Ingraham Street, Hempstead, New York, as a Fugitive from Justice from Newberry Township Pennsylvania Police Department on the original charges of 1.) Forced Entry, 2.) Criminal Trespass, 3.) Access to Device Fraud, 4.) Theft by Unlawful Taking, 5.) Possession of an Instrument of a Crime with Intent, and 6.) Criminal Mischief. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Candace Street in the City of Providence. Griggs was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.

On Sunday August 24, 2025, at 2:20 AM, Troopers arrested Marcos Mendez, age 28, of 189 Bridgham Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – BAC Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, and 3.) Weapons Other Than Firearms Prohibited. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop Niantic Avenue in the City of Providence. Mendez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and held overnight pending arraignment/presentation as a probation violator.

On Sunday August 24, 2025, at 2:20 AM, Troopers arrested Jose Pablo, age 24, for 1.) Obstruction and 2.) Disorderly Conduct. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop Niantic Avenue in the City of Providence. Pablo was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult.
