At 2:04 PM, Troopers arrested Leonardo Leoner, age 39, of 767 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island on an Active Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of License or Permit to Carry Firearm originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the Town of West Warwick. Leoner was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake.
At 9:40 PM, Troopers arrested Sammy Hazard, age 20, of 41 Kossuth St, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment with $8,000 Surety on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License – 4th or Subsequent Offense originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue in the City of Cranston. Subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released after posting the necessary surety bail.
