On Friday October 17, 2025, at 9:16 PM, Troopers arrested Jamal Lawson, age 34, of 14 Curtice Road Winstead, Connecticut for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Admiral Street in the City of Providence. Lawson was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight as a probation and bail violator pending morning arraignment.
On Friday October 17, 2025, at 11:35 PM, Troopers arrested Shane Strother, age 22, of 129 Woodward Road Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Obstruction and 2.) Driving with a Suspended License – Fourth or Subsequent Offense. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Pawtucket Avenue, in the City of Pawtucket. Strother was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
On Saturday October 18, 2025, at 1:30 AM, Troopers arrested John Ramos, age 61, of 67 Lancaster, Massachusetts for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .10 – .15 – First Offense (Phase I: 0.137% & Phase II: 0.141%). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Providence. Ramos was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
