On Friday, October 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM, Troopers arrested Clarence Soares, age 52, of 46 Crandall Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses Over $1,500.00 – Felony, 2.) Fraudulently Obtaining Assistance Over $500.00 – Felony 3.) Conspiracy - Felony Less Than 5 Years, and 4.) Giving False Document to Agent, Employee, or Public Official. This arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation by Troopers and the subject turning himself in at the Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barracks. The subject was processed and later transported to Third Division District Court for afternoon arraignment.

Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses Over $1,500.00 – Felony, 2.) Fraudulently Obtaining Assistance Over $500.00 – Felony 3.) Conspiracy - Felony Less Than 5 Years, and 4.) Giving False Document to Agent, Employee, or Public Official. On Friday, October 24, 2025 at 9:30 PM, Troopers arrested Emmanuel Zapata Morales, age 20, 164 Cross Street, Central Falls, Rhode Island, for 1.) Reckless Driving– First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 4 in the Town of East Greenwich. Morales was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
