On October 28, 2025, members of the Major Crimes Unit, assisted by the Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested Preston Schuster, age 21, of 24 Carey Street, Newport, Rhode Island, for Violation of No Contact Order. Mr. Schuster was processed at State Police Headquarters, presented as a bail violator and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace. Mr. Schuster was later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On October 28, 2025, the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Anthony Mosley, age 30, with last known address of 48 Goddard Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Felony Assault. Mr. Mosley was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was presented as a Superior Court violator, granted $5,000 surety bail, and remanded to the ACI.
On October 28, 2025, the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Scott Herrmann, age 66, with last known address of 40 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard, Newport, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Simple Assault. Mr. Herrmann was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was presented as a District Court violator, granted $1,000 surety bail, and remanded to the ACI.
On October 28, 2025, the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Anderson Price, age 60, with last known address of 32 Sabin Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession of Controlled Substance Less than 10 Grams. Mr. Price was arraigned in Third Division District Court, presented as a District Court violator, granted $1,000 surety bail, and remanded to the ACI.
On October 28, 2025, members of the HIDTA Task Force and the Cranston Police Department SIU Unit arrested Carmen Garcia, age 50, of 36 Humes Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver Cocaine 1oz-1kg; 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver A Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine; 3) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Cranston Police Department for two counts of Delivery of a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance - Cocaine. Ms. Garcia was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and later arraigned in Sixth Division District Court.
On October 28, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive and Homeland Security Task Forces arrested Manuel Gonzalez, age 36, of 12 Thunder Trail, Cranston, Rhode Island, on a Federal Bench Warrant for an original charge of Drug Trafficking. Mr. Gonzalez was taken into custody without incident, turned over to members of the United States Marshals Service and later transported to the Providence Federal Courthouse.
On October 29, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Christopher Fournier, age 44, last known address of 229 Norwood Avenue, Apartment 2, Cranston, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Warwick Police Department for the following: 1) Second-Degree Child Molestation; 2) Two (2) Counts Second-Degree Sexual Assault; 3) Two (2) Counts Contributing to Delinquency; and 4) Indecent Exposure. Mr. Fournier was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of Warwick Police Department.
On October 30, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Kori Stanford, age 34, of 20 Worth Street, Floor 2, Central Falls, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Pawtucket Police Department for Aggravated Assault. Mr. Stanford was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of Pawtucket Police Department.
On October 30, 2025, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Joseph Botelho, age 57, of 25 Ash Street, East Providence, Rhode Island, on a Parole Bench Warrant for the following original charges: 1) Assaultive Behavior; 2) Inappropriate Behavior; and 3) Failure to Comply with Rules and Conditions of Parole. Mr. Botelho was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On October 31, 2025, members of the Intelligence Unit, assisted by members of the Major Crimes Unit, arrested Brian Alcantara Hernandez, age 37, of 147 Grove Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance - 10 grams or less (Cocaine). Mr. Hernandez was processed at RI State Police Headquarters and later transported to Sixth District Court, where he was arraigned and presented as a Superior Court Violator.
