At 9:26 PM., Troopers arrested Tiffany Ferreira, age 40, of 336 Massasoit Ave, East Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .10-.15 (Phase I: .125%; Phase II: .123%) – First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 146 South in the Town of North Smithfield. The subject was transported to the State Police – Scituate Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

At 10:58 PM, Troopers arrested Alexander Thayer, age 40, of 8 Pleasant Ave, North Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance I-V – Less than 10 Grams (Cocaine) and 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs - 1st Offense - BAC Unknown, and 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 295 South in the Town of Johnston. The subject was transported to the State Police – Scituate Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
