At 1:33 PM, Troopers arrested Johnathan Ramsey, age 40, of 165 Pine Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of Woonsocket Police Department for Simple Assault and Vandalism, and 2.) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to appear for Technical Violation Hearing on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Criminal V, out of North Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 in the Town of East Greenwich and subsequently locating the suicidal party onboard the RIPTA Bus. Mr. Ramsey was transported to Kent County Hospital for an evaluation and was later turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.
