At 4:36PM, Troopers arrested Dayanne Costa, age 36, of 277 Union Street, Portsmouth, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit Arrest Warrant out of the State Police Wickford Barracks for the original charges of 1.) Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses (Over $10,000), 2.) Fraudulently Obtaining Public Assistance (Over $500), 3.) Providing False Documents to Public Official. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation. Costa was held at the Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
At 10:46PM, Troopers arrested Jonathan Moore, age 50, of 249 Quaker Lane, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drug – BAC Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 95, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
