On Friday November 28, 2025 at 12:30 PM, Troopers arrested Jason Castro, age 45, of 42 Broad Street, Rehoboth, Massachusetts, as a Fugitive from Justice for the original charges of 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and 2.) Vandalism originating from the Seekonk Police Department. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to Rhode Island Hospital and taking custody of Castro from the Seekonk Police Department. Castro was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center.
On Saturday November 29, 2025 at 12:52 AM, Troopers arrested Cristian Cordones age 51, of 118 Abbott Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – 2nd Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Franklin Street in the City of Providence. Cordones was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On Saturday November 29, 2025 at 1:10 AM, Troopers arrested Ronald Guertin Jr. age 43, of 5 Maple Street, Cranston, Rhode Island for Possession of a Scheduled I to V(Cocaine) – Under 10 Grams. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Linwood Street in the City of Providence. Guertin was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
On Saturday November 29, 2025 at 3:00 AM Troopers arrested Eugene Barbosa age 42, of 327 Sayles Ave, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for Disorderly Conduct. This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to Bally's Casino for a disturbance. Barbosa was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
