At 3:45 PM, Troopers arrested Cheque Camacho, age 34, of 765 Ledge Street, Apartment 1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Obtaining Money by False Pretenses, 2.) Giving False Document to Public Official, 3.) Fraudulently Obtaining Public/Government Assistance, and 4.) Fraudulent Use of Food Stamps. This arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation by Trooper N. Palumbo and the subject turning herself into the Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barracks. The subject was processed, specially arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
At 10:30 PM, Troopers arrested Mariela Bautista Canela, age 24, of 400 Plainfield Street, Apartment 1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs – Blood Results Pending – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
At 3:15 AM, Troopers arrested Zachary Fitzgerald, age 22, of 45 Winter Street, Taunton, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor BAC .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I .273%, Phase II .272%). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to State Police – Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
