On December 29, 2025, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Carlos Lopes Depina, age 18, of 383 Broadway, 2nd Floor, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Felony Assault; 2) Possession of a Ghost Gun; 3) Resisting Arrest; 4) Disorderly Conduct; and 5) Obstructing a Police Officer. Mr. Depina was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, where he was processed. He was later turned over to officials at the ACI Men's Intake Center pending arraignment in Sixth District Court.
On December 29, 2025, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Jose Gomes, age 21, of 385 Broadway, 2nd Floor, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Resisting Arrest; and 2) Obstructing a Police Officer. Mr. Gomes was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, where he was processed. He was later arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future Sixth District court date.
On December 30, 2025, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Preston Schuster, age 21, with last known address of 24 Carey Street, Newport, Rhode Island as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Mr. Schuster was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending his return to Massachusetts.
