At 9:40 PM, Troopers arrested Jaden Powell, age 25, of 571 Manton Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty originating out of the State Police – Scituate Barracks. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Stokes Street in the City of Providence. Powell was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment.
