On Monday February 16, at 4:45 PM, Troopers arrested Francesca Sarantapoulas, age 45, of 35 Beech Road, Narragansett, Rhode Island on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for 1.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses/Personation > $10,000, 2.) Fraudulently Obtain Public Assistance > $500, 3.) Fraudulent use of Food Stamps > $500, and 4.) Giving False Document to Agent, Employee, or Public Official originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks. This arrest was a result of a Barracks and Sarantapoulas turning herself in at the Hope Valley Barracks. Sarantapoulas was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third District Court arraignment date.
