At 2:41 PM, Troopers arrested Peter Mundowa, age 38, of 402 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, Massachusetts for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Special Victims Unit. This arrest was the result of Mr. Mundowa responding to the Providence Superior Court and being taken into custody. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men's Intake Center as a probation violator.
At 3:26 PM, Troopers arrested Michael Gannon, age 58, of 163 N Washington Street, Apartment 2, North Attleboro, Massachusetts for 1.) Possession of Schedule I to V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Crack Cocaine). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Theresa Marie Avenue in the City of Woonsocket. The subject was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
At 4:00 PM, Troopers arrested Pamela Artruc, age 47, of 1953 Providence Pike, North Smithfield, Rhode Island for 1.) Fraudulently Obtain Public Assistance over $500, 2.) Fraudulent Use of Food Stamps over $500, 3.) False Statement to Obtain Replacement Public Assistance Check over $500, and 4.) Giving False Document to Agent, Employee, or Public Official. This arrest was the result of a Barracks Investigation. The subject was processed at State Police Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third District Court Date.
