On Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 10:44 PM Troopers arrested Scott R. Labossiere, age 54, of 94 Bates School House Road, Exeter, Rhode Island for 1.) 2 Counts Second Degree Child Abuse, and 2.) Refusal to Relinquish or to Damage or to Obstruct Telephone. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by members of the Hope Valley Barracks and the subject being located at 330 South County Trail. The subject was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending a Fourth Division District Court date.
