On Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 10:44 PM Troopers arrested Scott R. Labossiere, age 54, of 94 Bates School House Road, Exeter, Rhode Island for 1.) 2 Counts Second Degree Child Abuse, and 2.) Refusal to Relinquish or to Damage or to Obstruct Telephone. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation by Tand the subject being located at a residence in the Town of Exeter. The subject was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, processed and held overnight pending a Fourth Division District Court date.
