At 4:28 PM, Troopers arrested David Oppenheim, age 56, of 77 Bernon Street, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance – 10 Grams or Less (Crack Cocaine); 2.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the original charge of Shoplifting – Second Offense originating out of the North Smithfield Police Department; 3.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department; 4.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department; and 5.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Presentment as a Violator on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Clark Court in the City of Woonsocket. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men's Intake Center as a probation violator.
At 2:32 AM, Troopers arrested Bradley Aiken, age 21, of 624 Bullocks Point Avenue, Riverside, Rhode Island as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of New Hampshire on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Larceny - Theft by Unauthorized Taking originating out of the Nashua Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and held pending morning arraignment at Sixth District Court.
