On March 25, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Jeffrey D. Harrop, age 36, of 170 Coyle Avenue 1st Floor, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Pawtucket Police Department for Sexual Offender Registration Required. Mr. Harrop was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Pawtucket Police Department on scene.
On March 25, 2026, members of the Special Victims Unit arrested Alisha Crins, age 39, of 269 Poplar Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island, for Third Degree Sexual Assault. Ms. Crins was arraigned, processed at State Police Headquarters, and released from custody.
On March 26, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Edifer Batista Nunez, age 33, of 23 Farragut Avenue, Apartment 2, Providence, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for the following: 1) Felony Assault; and 2) Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Nunez was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Providence Police Department.
On March 26, 2026, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Anthony Ortiz, age 19, of 222 Park Avenue 1st Floor, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for the following: 1) Larceny from a Person. Mr. Ortiz was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department on scene.
On March 26, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Justin Chandler, age 25, last known address of 150 Sutton Avenue, East Providence, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Chandler was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was granted $1,000 personal recognizance bail and remanded to the ACI.
On March 26, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Myasia Branch, age 26, last known address of 1380 Ogden Avenue, Apartment 4D, Bronx, New York, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Ms. Branch was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where she was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending her return to Massachusetts.
On March 26, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Jason Vergara, age 37, last known address of 307 Wildwood Avenue, Apartment 2R, Worcester, Massachusetts, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Connecticut. Mr. Vergara was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending his return to Connecticut.
On March 26, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Jovanna Nunez, age 36, last known address of 13 Union Drive, Unit 206, North Kingstown, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Massachusetts. Ms. Nunez was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where she was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending her return to Massachusetts.
On March 26, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Bethlehem Cocchini Beck, age 28, last known address of 314 Benefit Street, Providence, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Assault with Bodily Fluids While Incarcerated. Ms. Beck was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where she was presented as a Superior Court violator, granted $2,500 surety bail and remanded to the ACI.
