Hope Valley Barracks

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 2:12 AM, Troopers arrested Sandra Carpenter, age 56, of 30 Potter Avenue, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Church Street, in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where she was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 3:07 AM, Troopers arrested William Mota, age 39, of 235 High Road, Palm Bay, Florida for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – B.A.C. .08 -.10 – First Offense (Phase I: .103% and Phase II: .098%). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike, in the Town of East Greenwich. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

On Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 3:40 AM, Troopers arrested Thomas Banigan, age 47, of 171 Canfield Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, for a Family Court Bench Warrant for a Reciprocal Body Attachment for a Non-Criminal Charge. The arrest was the result of the subject turning himself in to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks. The subject was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Center.
