At 12:22 PM, Troopers arrested Michael O'Rourke, age 57, of 18 Rayner Street, Blackstone, Massachusetts, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Shoplifting and Conspiracy- Misdemeanor originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Gaskill Street in the City of Woonsocket. O'Rourke was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed and turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
At 2:45 PM, Troopers arrested Devin Dos Santos, age 28, of 67 Prospect Hill Avenue, West Warwick, Rhode Island for Violation of a Protection Order-2nd Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Manton Avenue in the City of Providence. Dos Santos was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Sixth District Court date.
At 2:50 PM, Troopers arrested Michael Vanover, age 67, of 415 Grove Street, Fl. 1, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with Suspended/Revoked License originating out of the State Police-Lincoln Woods Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Carrington Avenue in the City of Woonsocket. Vanover was transported to the State Police Lincoln Barracks where he was processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution-Men's Intake Center.
At 10:45 PM, Troopers arrested Dennis Chapin, age 39, of 28 Ames Road, Brockton, Massachusetts, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .10 to .15– First Offense (Phase I: 0.143% & Phase II: 0.142%) and 2.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety- 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 in the Town of Cumberland. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Sixth District Court Date.
At 2:01 AM, Troopers arrested Anthony O'Brien, age 35 of 64 Pound Road, Cumberland, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence- B.A.C. Unknown- 1st Offense, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test, and 3.) Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Alverson Avenue in the City of Providence. O'Brien was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Sixth District Court Date.
